Cleaning the surfaces

It is important to use soap and water to clean the surfaces before disinfecting them, as this eliminates germs, bacteria and dirt.

You can wash the floors and bathrooms once a week using this method, so you make sure to keep these areas as clean as possible.

It is also important to use disinfectants or high chlorine cleaning products for door knobs, bathroom surfaces, bedside tables, remote controls, switches, kitchen and bathroom faucets, toilets, telephones, keyboards and tablets.

For this items of the house that have regular use if it is recommended that you clean them every day, especially if there are family members who must leave the house for certain periods of time.

Washing clothes and bedding

If there are family members who are leaving for work or doing shopping trips, make sure they change their clothes when they get back home.

These garments should be washed every two days, at room temperature or if possible with hot water to eliminate germs and bacteria.

When washing sheets and towels in the washing machine, also try opting for high temperatures.

We also recommend that you do not spend more than 4 days without washing them.

Ventilate all the areas

It is recommended to ventilate every room of the house for a minimum of five minutes.

Another tip to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus is to vacuum frequently. You can do this while ventilating your home to prevent dust build-up.

Keeping the house free of dust will always help to ensure good breathing conditions and therefore will make it difficult for germs to enter.

Another tip to keep in mind is that cleaning should start from the farthest part of the front door to it, this means that all the areas are clean without exceptions.
