Whether you are looking for a place with outdoor activities or an exclusive shopping experience, here are some suggestions to enjoy some time away from home.

1. Central Market

Among its colorful stalls and places, we find different types of areas for sweets, among which you can try sweet fruits, rice pudding, buñuelos, sweet coconut or milk canillitas.

The traditional food of the country has a special place,  with some well-known stalls such as "Doña Mela", which are also located in this market within the historic center of the city, very close to the main Cathedral.

Although it was inaugurated in 1871, it was destroyed by an earthquake in 1976 and in its place the current market was built, which was inaugurated in 1982. With some changes instituted to take care of merchants and buyers; This is an experience that locals and visitors alike will enjoy.

2. Four Degrees North

If you are a lover of gastronomy, this space is the ideal one for you. Around the streets of this bohemian sector of the center of the city visitors will be able to enjoy various restaurants with different culinary styles.

From ice cream made in an artisanal way in "Adela", to the experience of having all the imaginable varieties of food at hand in "La Esquina" (The corner).

At the moment all restaurants have a limited number of people attendees, so we recommend that you make a reservation, if possible, so that you have a pleasant experience.

3. Cayala City

All shopping centers have taken very serious security measures within all their facilities. In addition to being an exclusive residential area, this complex is also home to a variety of high-fashion and brand name shops and restaurants.

You can also enjoy other activities such as a visit to the Chocolate museum, or simply stroll through the wide pedestrian streets in the company of your family and your dog pet.

As in many places in our city, the use of a mask is mandatory, unless you are in permitted areas such as restaurants, where you can eat and enjoy the outdoor environment.

4. Paseo la Sexta

Historically considered the most representative commercial area of the city, this sector underwent a total reconstruction, which allowed the birth of a pedestrian space free of visual contamination.

Equipped with wide sidewalks for pedestrian circulation, accessibility, high-quality urban furniture, lights, sculptures and urban art; this sector became one of the main walking areas for the citizens of the city.

Many shops and restaurants are already working with security measures, so that all visitors can enjoy themselves, while appreciating the classic and modern architecture of this area.
