Mayan archaeological remains
Central America connects with its roots from the past, represented in each of the archaeological sites distributed throughout various countries. Honduras is no exception, Copán is one of the most important places and has one of the most exceptional main squares with a staircase whose steps are 10 meters wide.
The Talga caves are another of the most curious destinations to visit. Local and foreign tourists visit these caves for an adventure-filled experience, where they can explore the depths of the caves and see the well-preserved ossuaries with the remains of this civilization.
Another recommended site for visitors is Yumela / El chical, in which there are various mounds and structures, including the so-called structure 101, also known as “El Cerrito”, which is approximately 19 meters high.
